Chow Hound in Green River

Great food! I got the Malibu and my wife got the club sandwich. We both loved our sandwiches and the shake was great as well! Definitely recommend this place.

Grabbed a quick burger from here before going on a river trip and was very surprised how delicious it was! The fries were crispy and flavorful, the hamburger was juicy and delicious, and the service was quick. After our 3 day river trip, we all returned for another round.

Fast, thoughtful service & delicious food. Definitely the kind of place I felt good to be a patron to. - we had a delicious, hot, chicken alfredo (+olives) pizza and breadsticks. Yum!

We LOVED our breakfast at the Chow Hound! The hearty breakfast burritos are filled with fluffy scrambled eggs and the homemade donuts and pastries are simply wonderful. See you this fall, CH! :)

Ok so we stopped here, middle of nowhere adorable town...and ate dinner here in our road trip. Oh my gosh, the Pizza was fantastic! Seriously the crust was so good. The people both working and visiting were very outgoing. This is a tiny little place in a tiny little town...blink and you might miss it... Hey y'all, don't blink!

Great Burgers and Fries!!

Came here after a long day of hiking and the burger and curly fries were so good, I literally cried a little while eating them. Great place.

Best homemade ranch and thousand Island dressing. We enjoyed the food! Fresh ingredients and great customer service. Next time in town will be stop by :)

The flavor? Immaculate, delicious to the taste. And in case you were wondering, the bathrooms are very nice.

Super good! Stopped for a quick bite to eat and was delightfully surprised. Fry sauce is amazing! Their fry game is on point. The tater tots were fried to perfection!

Great shakes.

Very good. Simple and made fresh. We got 2 fresh made doughnuts, 2 breakfast burritos that had 2 strips of bacon, eggs and so.e cheese and 1 croissant sandwich.

I came here to get a shake, and I asked if the fruit flavors were made with real fruit or syrup. Banana is apparently made with real fruit but the rest are made with canned fruit. I opted out of that and decided on Reese's. I was asked whether I wanted Reese's pieces or Reese's peanut butter cups, and I chose the latter. The guy making my shake didn't use gloves, and he didn't wear a covid mask either! In fact, all the customers who came into the store did not wear a mask. Yikes. I was also only given one Reese's peanut butter cup, which was definitely stingy. My shake didn't have much of a peanut butter cup flavor, and I was pretty disappointed. The shake was $4.38 post-tax too, which is definitely on the pricey side. Meh.

Just the spot for a meal or just an ice cream snack break. They have thick shakes, even malts, along with cones, sundays and other tempting food. They were friendly & accommodating even though there is no dining inside now. There is a lovely patio out front with tables if you prefer to stay. Nice homey atmosphere. Highly recommend.

A decent local fast food place. I got the Western Burger and the patty was dry and there was way too much BBQ sauce. The curly fries and onion rings were great though.

The Chow Hound was a great side-of-the-road stop for a quick bite. It had a home town feel that reflected the surrounding community. The grilled chicken sandwiches were very good, as was the fish sandwich. The fries were surprisingly good, and all of this was for a reasonable price. Nice place!

I originally had thought this place only served pizza my first time in Green River, but it does it all! Corn dogs, burgers, sandwiches, every sort of classic drive in food. The hospitality from the staff was sub-par, I think maybe 4 words were said to us the whole time, but the food far exceeded expectations. Watch out! They charge 50 cents for water cups.

Food is ok at best.

I still kinda enjoyed this place. I was rafting for 8 days and you can't be too picky about food. But it's mediocre food at best to be honest, but it's super unique in the food and ice cream variety as well as their selection of both coke and Pepsi. I liked it for how unique it was

The burgers were kind of good but the shakes were terrible, there was a hole in the cup the chunks were non-existent.

Been coming here since I was a kid on our trips to and from southern Utah. It obviously has great memories so I may seem as if I am letting that affect my review but it isn't. I'm giving it 5 stars for a few reasons. 1. There is plenty of options on the menu, its not just a corn dog stand. 2. The food is actually pretty good for the type that it is. You wouldn't expect it given its unassuming exterior, but the food is good.

Really nice breakfast place. They open up pretty early. Got some chicken and fries and they were yum! I particularly didn't like the additional sauces that much though.

Any time I go to Green River I MUST stop here! They have the best food! Highly recommend the Chicken Malibu! Always friendly service as well!

A lovely Mom & POP kind of place. The service was great. The dining area was small with only a few tables. We were worried that we couldn’t fit get a place to sit. But the turnover was quick. The staff quickly came and wiped the table for us. We had the pizza and it was delicious. There were other items available too from hamburgers to tacos. The hamburgers looked delicious too. We got a couple of shakes to share and they were larger than we expected. Overall good food and great service that we didn’t expect in this small town. Thank you for serving us.

Lil mom n pop fast food hole in the wall that is fantastic! Huge tasty portions of inexpensive comfort food. Friendly lady, I think was the owner, who took our order was very sweet. Could tell the locals who frequent Chow Hound love this place too. The owner knew everyone by name. It's fast food done right!

The tater tots were fried perfectly, enjoyable fast food.

Love the donuts and pizza! The chicken bacon ranch is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, out of multiple US states, Mexico, Amsterdam, the UK, and a few others, this is the best.

This is the place to go if you’re looking for quick food in Green River. Simple, filling, and tasty. Do yourself a favor; get a milkshake.

What a great tasting place, it had just the right amount of small town feel. Service was quick and the waitress was friendly. Food got to us fast and was hot. Putting it on our return to list!

Great little local diner. They have a little bit of everything: burgers, tacos, pizza, ice cream. Small dining area inside with just a few tables. People must do mostly takeout or eat outside when it's warmer. There are a couple bathrooms outside and around the back. Lots of little toy/candy machines and other stuff on sale crammed into the little space, which was a bit weird but sort of fit the small town diner feel.We were with friends on a camping trip between national parks and stopped for lunch in Green River. We shared a combo pizza, which was actually really tasty. We weren't sure what to expect from a little joint that makes burgers and pizza, but reviews had said it made the best pizza in town, and we were tired of burgers. We also had a cookies and cream shake which was delicious! Locals were eating there for an early lunch on a Monday, so you know it's good if locals like it.

excellent locally owned establishment. With my meal I ordered some coffee which they made fresh and brought straight to me. It was good quality food and the employees were more than friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Support local!
